29th Annual Endless Summer Cruisin’ Returns to Ocean City
OCEAN CITY, Md. – Endless Summer Cruisin’ rolled back into Ocean City for the 29th year, as the inlet transformed into a showcase of sweet rides.
Mike Templeton is a staff member and an exhibitor at the event, and explained what makes Cruisin’ so special.
“If there’s any kind of car you want to see, it’s here, whether it’s a late model, rat ride, muscle car, whatever.” Said Templeton. “It’s all here. And everybody just goes around and does the old style networking, talking to everybody.”
The beloved event is the fall version of Cruisin’ Ocean City, proving that the classic car culture on the Eastern Shore, keeps rolling full speed ahead, and keeps bringing hard-core hot rod fans like Kory Heimbuck, back for more.
“It’s like it’s getting bigger and bigger and bigger each year.” Said Heimbuck. “It’s getting to the point that they have to make it bigger and bigger every year.”
At Cruisin’, there’s much more to see then just cars, from live music, a variety of vendors, and even competitive events, like “best beard”. And this year, the festival brought out famous car celebrities, like Ron and Rick Dale from American Restoration.
“The thing about this kind of car show is the atmosphere, the beach for sure.” Said Rick Dale. “And every morning waking up to a hot rod screaming down the boardwalk was the funnest ever.”
The event runs until Sunday, Oct. 11th. For more information on the event and schedule, visit their website.
