Sussex Central makes comeback vs Sussex Tech in Boys Soccer Match
GEORGETOWN, Del. – Sussex Tech Boys Soccer is looking to get a win vs. the Golden Knights. The Ravens had not gotten a win vs SC since 2018.
Kicking things off early, Alex Garcia-Velasquez receives the ball in open space. He controls the handle, as Central’s goalie, and tries to step outside the box to defend.
He stepped a little too far, and Garica-Valesquez made them pay. The Ravens get on the board early.
They would stay up 1-0 heading into halftime.
Sussex Central worked to get back into the game, Jeffrey Lopez-Lopez with a chip shot for the ages. A difficult goal that he made looked easy.
The equalizer in the 2nd half ties the game up.
Later in the 2nd half, Golden Knights pressuring on offense. A free kick to Anthony Chilel-Ramirez, and he hits a banger from deep.’
Golden Knights take the lead 2 to 1, and win the game.
