Bennett baseball zaps Stephen Decatur in regular season finale

The Bennett Clippers defeated the Stephen Decatur Seahawks 3-1 on Monday afternoon on Senior Day.
Bennett would get all three of their runs in the first two innings, with Charlie Kerrigan swiping home after a wild pitch in the first, and Hunter White blasting a sac fly deep enough into left to score Joey Geary.
Geary would again deliver in the second, beating out a would be inning-ending double play to score Kevin Trumanian. With a 3-0 lead, Bennett starter Connor Banks would put things in cruise control. He allowed one run in the third on an RBI single by Zach Adams scoring Lane Dillon. But would get two key strikeouts to get out of a bases loaded jam, as the Clippers went on to get the win.
