Back-to-Back Bayside Champs! Stephen Decatur Wins it Again

The Stephen Decatur Girls Lacrosse team faced off against Queen Anne’s for the Bayside Title and the Seahawks won it 9-7, making them back-to-back champions. 

Decatur scored early on, less than 2 minutes into the game they were on the board. By halftime, Decatur was up 5-4 but Queen Anne’s was never too far behind. 

This game was tied back and forth but after a free position goal by Lexi Van Kirk, than a Claire Porter goal off a VanKirk Assist guaranteed them a victory as their wasn’t time left on the clock to allow Queen Anne’s to spoil their repeat.
