Rhodesdale man charged after reportedly firing BB pellets at pedestrian

After firing BB pellets at a pedestrian in Cambridge, officials have arrested and charged the alleged shooter.
According to the Dorchester County Sheriff’s Office, a deputy responded to Hatswap Drive, after a victim reported they had been shot by a BB gun by a passing car, on Thursday.
The deputy was then able to stop the suspect near the intersection of Race and Washington Streets, where both the suspect and the weapon was taken into custody.
Police documents say, the suspect in the shooting at Hatswap Drive was identified as 18-year-old Brandon Greathouse.
He was charged with first degree assault, second degree assault, reckless endangerment and possession of marijuana under 10 grams.
Greathouse is now being held on a $75,000 bond, while the victim was treated and released from Dorchester General Hospital for two wounds.
Authorities say, Cambridge City Police had also received a report of a female victim that had been shot on Race Street with a BB gun just prior, however officials do not have any available information on that incident at this time.
