Queen Anne’s field hockey tops James M. Bennett in overtime thriller

SALISBURY, Md. – Queen Anne’s County High School field hockey outlasted James M. Bennett 2-1 in overtime Wednesday in Salisbury.

The visiting Lions struck first, with a second quarter tally from Kaitlyn St. Germain to give them a 1-0 lead. Queen Anne’s maintained that lead until deep into the fourth quarter, when Delaney Reynolds sank a penalty stroke for Bennett to send the game to overtime.

In the 9th minute of the extra period, Queen Anne’s broke through with a goal from Karlie Pritchard to end the game.
