Magnolia Cafe has Grand Opening in Ocean City
OCEAN CITY, Md. – Magnolia Cafe had its grand opening on 15th Street in Ocean City Friday. The start-up is a family-owned business with a focus on specialty handcrafted coffee, artistic crepes, and fine desserts.
You’ll find plenty of space here, with elegant flair and the kind of hospitality you get in Europe and the Mediterranean.
In attendance at the grand opening were Senator Mary Beth Carozza, Mayor Rick Meehan, and members of the Ocean City Chamber of Commerce.
Officials say that having a new business makes Ocean City more family-friendly and more profitable.
“Especially family-owned businesses and sole proprietors that are really vested in Ocean City. They brought another opportunity for our residents and visitors to really enjoy everything they have to offer,” said Mayor Meehan.
Mary Beth Carozza tells WMDT that being from Ocean City, these types of businesses are the ones that are vital to the community.
“And we want to support our small businesses, and here we have a couple of families coming together. They have transformed this space, it’s simply beautiful. Classy, and you want to hang out here.”
