One Airlifted After Two-Car Crash Involving Cambridge Police Cruiser
CAMBRIDGE, Md. – The Rescue Fire Company responded to a serious motor vehicle crash involving a Cambridge Police cruiser on Wednesday afternoon.
Just before 3:30 p.m., volunteer firefighters were dispatched for a motor vehicle collision in the area of Washington and Academy Streets. Initial reports indicated one vehicle had crashed into a building, and a second vehicle with a subject trapped. Further details about the crash are currently limited.
Crews successfully completed the extrication of the trapped patient before transferring care to emergency medical services. One patient was reportedly transported to Shock Trauma in Baltimore.
