Saltwater Roots Boutique Reopens in Rehoboth Beach

REHOBOTH BEACH, Del.– Saltwater Roots Boutique recently celebrated their grand re-opening at the Tanger Outlets in Rehoboth Beach.

What started as a mother daughter clothing store has now grown into a vendor-based art emporium with crafty creations from all over Delmarva.

“We thought why not make this a collective,” Wyatt said. “It just kind of grew from there and now we have forty vendors in the store.”

Shoppers visiting the collaborative artspace can find a wide variety of crafts, including wooden ornaments, blind dates with a book, and apparel.

“The vendors mix wood and resin, I have a lot of resin artists from right here in Lewes and Rehoboth,” Wyatt said. “We also have secret books where you don’t know what book your’re getting.”

As a small business owner supporting independent artists, Wyatt shares that she hopes people walk into the store to find something unique that they’ll cherish.

“Like they literally scream and they’re so happy and tickled that somebody loved a piece of their work so much that they bought it,” Wyatt said.

Saltwater Roots Boutique is open Friday through Sunday, from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
