Three Arrested in Milford Narcotics Distribution Investigation
MILFORD, Del. – The Delaware State Police (DSP) have arrested three men in connection with a narcotics distribution investigation in Milford.
Troopers arrested 68-year-old Mark Boyd, from Milford, 36-year-old Gary Williams, from Ellendale, and 34-year-old Joseph Palmer, from Seaford. All three men face the same charges, which include possession of a tier three quantity of a controlled substance, possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance, second degree conspiracy, and related drug crimes. Williams and Palmer were committed to the Department of Correction on a $80,200 cash bond. Boyd was released on a $80,200 unsecured bond.
At 2:00 p.m. on Sept. 2, members of the DSP Kent County Governor’s Task Force were patrolling Unity Lane in Milford, when they observed Boyd make several suspected drug transactions. Through the investigation, detectives determined that Boyd, Williams, and Palmer were working together to store narcotics and proceeds from drug sales at multiple lots and inside several vehicles on Unity Lane.
Detectives responded to the identified locations and took all three suspects into custody without incident. Detectives subsequently searched the lots and vehicles and recovered the following:
- Approximately 16.5 grams of suspected crack cocaine
- Approximately 11.4 grams of suspected heroin
- Approximately 6.8 grams of suspected cocaine
- Approximately $1,500 in suspected drug sale proceeds
- Three digital scales
- Drug packaging materials
