OCEAN CITY, Md. – As OC Rock and Ride returns to Ocean City, Worcester County tourism is giving motorcyclists a chance to see the coast in style. “Cruizin the Coast” gives visitors a chance to follow a mapped out tour that includes some of the Eastern Shore’s top attractions.

Melanie Pursel is the Director at the Worcester County Office of Tourism & Economic Development, and explained how the event capitalises on the large motorcycle festival coming to Ocean City.

“A way to get people out and about while they’re here for Bike Week.” Said Pursel. “So, when they’re here, you know, experiencing Ocean City, we say, let’s go out, enjoy riding in the countryside, visit our small towns, some of our businesses, and really get a feel for what Maryland’s coast and the region is all about.”

Motorcyclists can follow along and take photos at different locations, giving them a chance to win cash prizes.

Pick up is Wednesday, September 9th at 9am, at the Inlet Ticket Booth. Tickets are $40 and include a t-shirt.
