Pechin, Polytech down Dover

The Polytech Panthers softball team defeated Dover 11-1 in five innings on Thursday afternoon, moving to 12-5 on the season.

Taylor Pechin finished with 15 strikeouts on the mound for the Panthers, while also going 3-4 at the plate, finishing with 2 homeruns and 3 RBIs. Estella Rivas finished with Dover’s lone RBI, off a sacrifice fly.

The Panthers finish off their regular season visiting Smyrna on Friday, while Dover (7-8) visits Delaware Academy of Public Safety and Security on Friday.
