DSP Investigate Robbery at WSFS Bank in Rehoboth Beach

REHOBOTH BEACH, Del. – Delaware State Police are investigating a bank robbery that occurred Saturday morning in Rehoboth Beach.

On Aug. 29, around 9:50 a.m., troopers responded to the WSFS Bank, located on Coastal Highway, for a reported robbery. A preliminary investigation revealed an unknown suspect entered the bank and gave the employee a demand note. The employee complied, and the suspect fled on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash. Police say no weapon was involved and no injury was reported.

Police describe the suspect as a thin Black male in his twenties, who was dressed like a female while wearing tight clothing and a wig.
