Multiple Roads Close in Salisbury due to Flooding

SALISBURY, Md – The City of Salisbury has closed off multiple roads following flooding issues caused by Friday’s storms.

Several streets have been barricaded to protect motorists and allow crews to monitor changing water levels. The City says barricades will be staggered where possible to allow continued access to local businesses in the affected areas. Closures will be in place until approximately 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, Aug. 29. 

The following road closures are currently in effect:
  • Race Street from Snow Hill Road to Park Heights Avenue
  • Lake Street from West Main Street to Route 50
  • Lake Street from Burton Street to King Street
  • Fitzwater Street from West Main Street to Pearl Street
