Federalsburg 19-Year-Old Killed in Motorcycle Crash in Preston

PRESTON, Md. – The Maryland State Police are investigating a fatal motorcycle crash that occurred Saturday night in Preston.

At 9:12 p.m. on Aug. 15, troopers from the Easton Barrack responded to Route 331 at Linchester Road for a report of a two-vehicle crash involving a motorcycle. The preliminary investigation indicated the motorcycle was traveling south on Route 331, when for unknown reasons, the vehicle lost control and crashed into the asphalt. The driver was subsequently struck by a Chevrolet Equinox.

The driver and sole occupant of a Harley-Davidson motorcycle, identified as Duilio Dealessandr Burduo-Morales, of Federalsburg was pronounced deceased on the scene. No further injuries were reported.

Lanes were closed for approximately three hours. The Maryland State Police Crash Team is leading the active and ongoing investigation.
