Suspect Indicted on 25 Counts for Par 4 Bar & Grill Shooting
TEMPERANCEVILLE, Va. – A suspect arrested in connection with a fatal shooting at Par 4 Bar & Grill in Accomack County has been indicted on 25 counts, according to court documents obtained by WMDT.
Thirty-five-year-old Skylor Depree Crippen of Oak Hall faces new charges since his initial arrest in April, and was indicted by a grand jury on Aug. 3. Crippen faces the following counts:
- First degree murder
- Second degree murder
- Six counts of using a firearm during the commission of a felony
- Ten counts of malicious shooting at an occupied building
- Three counts of malicious wounding
- Two counts of malicious bodily injury to a member of law enforcement, fire, or EMS
- Two counts of assaulting a member of law enforcement, fire, or EMS
Crippen is accused of participating in a shooting that killed one and injured five in the early hours of Apr. 19. Authorities say Crippen is also accused of shooting at emergency medical personnel arriving to the scene.
Par 4 Bar & Grill, the site of the shooting, has not reopened since.
Terry Thomas Bragg Jr.
A second suspect, 28-year-old Terry Thomas Bragg Jr. of Norfolk, was arrested at the end of May. At this time, he faces four charges, including possessing a weapon as a previously convicted violent felon, malicious wounding, reckless handling of a firearm, and malicious shooting at an occupied building. Bragg will make his next court appearance on Monday, Aug. 17, in Accomack General District Court.
The first day or Crippen’s trial will be held on Oct. 26 at the Accomack Circuit Court.
