Special Olympics Delaware Cycling Classic to Return to Dover

DOVER, Del. – The Special Olympics Delaware Cycling Classic is set to return to Dover later this month.

More than 90 Special Olympics athletes and over 30 coaches from Delaware, Pennsylvania, Maryland and Virginia are set to compete in the annual event on Saturday, August 22.

The event will run from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the DelDOT Danner Campus on Bay Road in Dover.

The day will begin with registration and warm-ups, followed by the opening ceremony at 9:30 a.m., with the competition beginning at 10 a.m.

The competition will include races of various distances to accommodate different skill levels and awards will be given throughout the day after each event ends.
