Wicomico County Fair Prepares to Celebrate 90th Anniversary

SALISBURY, Md. – The Wicomico County Fair is celebrating it’s 90th year of festivities.

The fairgrounds are located at WinterPlace Park and kicks off on Friday Aug. 14th at 4 pm, and continues until Sunday Aug. 16th.

From petting zoos and duck races, to local vendors and the return of the carnival, the chairman of the fair, Zach Evans, says the fair offers free fun for the whole family.

“With the 90th anniversary, we’re excited to bring in some new programming.” Said Evans. “But everbody can still look forward to their fan favorites. We’ve got more livestock entries this year than we have had in the last five years. We’ve got a great entertainment lineup, we also have our car shows and competitive entries like we have here in the carriage house.”
