Wicomico Deputies Arrest Three, Seize Multiple Firearms in Shots Fired Investigation

SALISBURY, Md. – The Wicomico County Sheriff’s Office has arrested three individuals and seized multiple firearms and ammunition as part of an ongoing shots fired investigation.
At approximately 12:53 a.m. on Jun. 26, deputies responded to the 400 block of Patrick Avenue in Salisbury after receiving a 911 call reporting a gunshot. Upon arrival, deputies determined that a bullet had penetrated the wall of a neighboring residence, traveled through the kitchen, ricocheted off a table, passed through the ceiling and attic, and exited through the roof. No injuries were reported.
Deputies contacted occupants of the neighboring residence, where evidence indicated the shot had originated, and obtained consent to search the residence. Detectives located and seized ammunition, a handgun magazine, an un-serialized suppressor, and evidence consistent with the use and distribution of controlled dangerous substances.
Emarion Jones
During their investigation, 18-year-old Emarion Jones of Salisbury admitted to detectives that he accidentally discharged a firearm inside the residence while handling it. Authorities say Jones further stated that he removed the firearm from the residence after the incident and attempted to dispose of it. According to court documents obtained by WMDT, Jones was arrested and charged with two counts of possessing a machine gun for an aggressive purpose, five counts of possessing a firearm as a minor, five counts of illegally possessing a regulated firearm, and other charges related to the investigation. He is being held without bond.
Detectives also searched two vehicles associated with the investigation after obtaining search warrants. A subsequent search of a 2015 Dodge Durango resulted in the recovery of the following items:
- A loaded Glock 19 9mm handgun equipped with a 50-round drum magazine
- A loaded Taurus G2C 9mm handgun with an extended magazine
- A loaded Glock 42 .380 caliber handgun with an extended magazine
- A loaded Masterpiece Arms 9mm pistol with an extended magazine
- An un-serialized AR-style 5.56 rifle equipped with two taped-together 30-round magazines
- Numerous loaded extended magazines and additional ammunition
Further testing revealed the Glock 19 had been illegally modified to function as a fully automatic machine gun. Detectives also recovered an unmarked suppressor that was determined to be compatible with both the fully automatic Glock 19 and the Masterpiece Arms 9mm pistol.
As the investigation progressed, authorities say additional undisclosed evidence led to arrest warrants being obtained for additional individuals; 21-year-old I’yonna Wilson of Salisbury, and 19-year-old La’Quandre Jackson of Cambridge.

On Jul. 29, members of the Capital Area Regional Fugitive Task Force located and arrested Wilson in Salisbury without incident. According to court documents obtained by WMDT, Wilson faces charges including five counts of having a loaded handgun on one’s person, five counts of having a loaded handgun in a vehicle, and related gun charges. She was transported to the Wicomico County Detention Center, where she is being held without bond.
La’Quandre Jackson
On Aug. 4, Jackson surrendered to the Talbot County Sheriff’s Office and was served with his outstanding arrest warrant before being taken into custody. According to court documents obtained by WMDT, he faces charges including four counts of possessing a firearm as a minor, four counts of having a handgun on one’s person, and related charges. Jackson is also being held without bond.
Authorities say their investigation remains active, and additional criminal charges are anticipated as detectives continue reviewing digital evidence and other investigative leads.
