Wanted Laurel man arrested with stolen gun

Laurel Police have arrested 42 year old Nacarlos Horsey for possession of a stolen firearm. Laurel Police were reportedly dispatched to a domestic disturbance involving Horsey.    Officials say Horsey fled from the scene, but officers were able to locate the Laurel resident hiding next to a dumpster in the Hollybrook Apartment Complex, armed with a handgun.

Authorities say Horsey was identified as the person involved in the domestic dispute, and who was in possession of a firearm.  Police say they found the gun fully loaded  with a bullet chambered. 

Officials say a check of the Delaware Criminal Justice Information System showed that Horsey was wanted, as well as a convicted felon.  A police investigation revealed the gun, found in possession of Horsey was stolen from the Seaford area.  Horsey was arraigned and committed to the Sussex Correctional Institution in default of a $52,000 cash bond.  Horsey’s charges are Possession of a firearm by person prohibited, and receiving a stolen firearm and as a local fugitive.
