National Farmers Market Week – Get A Taste of Snow Hill
SNOW HILL, Md. – Aug. 2 – 8 is National Farmers Market Week, and the small but mighty Snow Hill Farmers Market at Sturgis Park is ready to celebrate.
The week is meant to celebrate local farmers, artisans, and strengthen communities.
Snow Hill holds their farmers market every Thursday, from 2-7 pm until October.
Giving vendors, such as Rich Boyajay, an opportunity to show off their craft, and customers a chance to have a taste.
“If I didn’t have this farmers market, locally, cause I live in Snow hill, I’m not sure what I would do with all of this.” Said Boyajay.
Helen Young is with her booth Coastal Creations, and embraces everything the week stands for.
“Farmers markets are good for the whole community because it brings people together, and it gives customers a good shopping experience, and they can buy everything fresh and support local.” Said Young.
