Hurlock Police Holds National Night Out

(HURLOCK, Md) – Across the Eastern Shore, communities are coming together for National Night Out and it’s no different in North Dorchester County.

The Town of Hurlock’s police Department, along with several Dorchester County agencies are celebrating the nationwide event in the town’s triangle park.

Police Chief Bruce Jones spoke with WMDT about how important National Night Out is, especially in a smaller community where seemingly everybody knows everybody.

Chief Jones says, “Community policing is a major push. One of our mottos is we’re committed to our community and the bond that we have with our community is very important to us. And this event is just one of the many things we try to do to continue that.”
