Salisbury 19-Year-Old Convicted of Attempted Murder, Gun Crimes

SALISBURY, Md. – A 19-year-old has been convicted of attempted murder and related charges in connection with a gang-related shooting from October.

Bryant Brown-Clark of Salisbury was convicted on two counts of second degree attempted murder, two counts of firearm use in a crime of violence, illegal possession of a regulated firearm, two counts of theft valued between $1,500 to $25,000, and related charges following a three-day jury trial. He will remain in custody until his sentencing, which has been postponed pending a pre-sentence investigation.

“We are extremely fortunate that no one was injured or killed in this shooting incident,” Wicomico County State’s Attorney Jamie L. Dykes said. “My Office will continue to diligently prosecute violent street crime to remove these perpetrators from our community.”

On Oct. 16, 2025, Wicomico County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to a report of a shooting incident in the area of Mohawk Avenue in Salisbury, but were unable to gather information from any witnesses. Deputies were then dispatched to the nearby Wicomico Nursing Home, where they discovered a stray bullet had entered a patient’s room. Investigators collected physical evidence from the scene, including shattered automotive glass in the street and surveillance footage depicting a suspect vehicle, which was located by investigators days later in Salisbury, and found to be stolen from Baltimore City.

Authorities arrested Brown-Clark while conducting surveillance of the stolen vehicle, as he and four other young men tried to enter the car. Shattered automotive glass was found on Brown-Clark’s person when he was taken into custody. Based on the Sheriff’s Office investigation, the shooting is believed to have been gang related.
