Art League of Ocean City Expansion Project Approved

OCEAN CITY, Md.- The Art League of Ocean City just got approved by the town for a 1400 ft. expansion project.

The waterside center for the arts was looking to add more room to their current studio and galleries, and now has the green light from town officials.

The new space will be utilized for their summer camp programs and to add more room for the beloved showcases and exhibits. Executive Director Rina Thaler spoke on these new developments.

“Because we’re going to be able to handle double the amount of camps during the summer time and be able to expand our exhibits during the winter time.” Said Thaler.  “And, you know, to add to our classes, our facility rentals and just, use the space in so many different ways.”

The non-profit will now look to raise funds and recieve grants to complete the extension.
