WATCH: Tornado sighted near Trappe

TRAPPE, Md. – Bero Sanchez captures what clearly looks like a rotating funnel just beyond a tree line, near the town of Trappe, MD. This area of Talbot county was under a tornado warning at around 6:15pm on Tuesday, July 28 when this video was shot, and the National Weather Service confirmed a tornado touchdown in the area. A close look at the video reveals debris flying in the air around the circulation. The NWS will be conducting a storm survey to determine wind speed and path of the tornado.
