City of Crisfield announces series of changes to prevent spread of COVID-19

CRISFIELD, Md. – The Mayor of the City of Crisfield has announced several changes to take effect in an effort to limit the spread of COVID-19 in the city.

City Hall access has been restricted to essential employees only. Payments may only be made via the back-door drop, or by calling ahead at 410-968-1333 option 1. Water disconnects will be delayed, and late fees waived.

The Crisfield Police Department will have the front door open for entrance during regular business hours. Dispatch on duty will speak through a window and intercom. Only essential personnel will be admitted into the officer’s area.

Rental registrations have been suspended until the State of Emergency is canceled.

In addition:

  • Corbin Studio & Gallery – access restricted to essential personnel only
  • March 25th Mayor & Council meeting is cancelled
  • Passive Park/Nature Trail ribbon cutting scheduled for March 20th has been postponed
