DSP Investigating Shooting Incident in Dover

DOVER, Del. – The Delaware State Police (DSP) are investigating a shooting incident that occurred Monday in Dover.

On Jul. 27, at 5:45 p.m., troopers responded to the unit block of Ashby Lane in the Carlisle Village Community in Dover, for a report of a shooting incident. When troopers arrived, they received reports of multiple, unknown Black male suspects having exited a gray car before firing multiple shots that struck two occupied homes. A third unoccupied home on Coverly Court was also struck. No injuries were reported.

The DSP Criminal Investigations Unit has taken over the case. Detectives ask anyone with information relevant to the investigation to call Detective S. O’Leary at (302) 698-8527.
