2026 Salisbury Prize Winner Announced

SALISBURY, Md. – Tonight’s Good News is brought to you in part by Matt the Carpet Guy.

Congratulations to Jared and Jeri Alexander, two artists who have won the 2026 Salisbury Prize for their work on a kinetic sculpture. What makes this even more exciting is that this piece was selected by the City of Salisbury to be installed in front of the Government Office Building downtown. The sculpture is planned to be eight feet tall, and carry 380 reflective tiles, creating a shifting effect as visitors rotate it.
