Salisbury Announces Naylor Mill Water Main Extension Project
SALISBURY, Md. – The City of Salisbury announced that work on the Naylor Mill Water Main Extension Project is scheduled to begin on Monday, Jun. 29.
City leaders say the purposes of this project are to extend water service and provide reliable, high-quality drinking water to the area. The serviced area will extend from Scenic Drive to Ed Taylor Road, and is expected to be completed in June 2027.
During construction, the roadway will remain open to traffic under one-lane traffic control operations. Motorists are encouraged to use caution, expect possible delays, and follow all posted signage and flagging personnel throughout the work zone. Construction activities are expected to take place Monday through Friday, from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Additional updates will be provided as the project progresses. For more information, contact the Water Works Department at 410-548-3199.
