Flag Day Celebrated on Rehoboth Beach
REHOBOTH BEACH, Del. – Tonight’s Good News is brought to you in part by Matt the Carpet Guy, coming out of Rehoboth Beach.
Flag Day, which fell on Sunday, Jun. 14, was celebrated over the weekend by many. To honor the day, members from Indivisible Southern Delaware celebrated by forming a giant flag on Rehoboth Beach.
Early in the morning, more than 200 participants came together, holding banners that together, formed a giant American flag. Indivisible Southern Delaware is a community organization in Sussex County, and they say they are very proud to show off a tiny town with a big heart — and now a big flag too.
