This Year’s Fourth of July Fireworks Across Delmarva
DELMARVA – As the Fourth of July approaches, lots of local organizations and towns have announced their plans for firework displays.
If you are looking to view some of the colorful explosions, check out our list below to see what displays and festivities are happening near you. Happy 250th Anniversary of Independence Day from us at WMDT!
Delaware
KENT:
- Bally’s Casino & Resort will host festivities starting at 5:00 p.m. on Friday, Jul. 3, with fireworks starting at 9:00 p.m.
- Smyrna will hold their Independence Day Celebration at Smyrna High School on Saturday, Jul. 4, with festivities starting at 6:00 p.m. and fireworks to follow
- City of Dover will host a Fourth of July Celebration on Saturday, Jul. 4, with a fireworks display set for 9:15 p.m. at Legislative Mall
SUSSEX:
- Millsboro Chamber of Commerce will host “Stars and Stripes — America’s 250” on Saturday, Jun. 27, with fireworks starting after ballpark activities end at 9:00 p.m. at the Millsboro Little League Park
- Downtown Bethany Beach will host Stars, Stripes, and Shorelines on Saturday, Jul. 4, with fireworks starting after the associated concert concludes
- Town of Laurel will host fireworks on Saturday, Jul. 4, starting at dusk
- Lewes will host their Go Fourth Lewes Fireworks at dusk on Saturday, Jul. 4
- City of Rehoboth Beach will celebrate America’s 250th anniversary with a fireworks display on Sunday, Jul. 5, starting at 9:30 p.m.
Maryland
DORCHESTER:
- Dorchester County will host a fireworks display on Saturday, Jul. 4, over the Choptank River in Cambridge, starting just after 9:00 p.m.
SOMERSET:
- City of Crisfield with host a Celebrate America 250 Event at the Crisfield City Dock, with fireworks starting at 9:00 p.m.
TALBOT:
- Town of Easton will host a 4th of July Carnival on Saturday, Jul. 4, at Waterside Village at the Easton Shopping Center, with fireworks starting after dusk
- St. Michaels will host a fireworks show at the St. Michaels Harbor on Sunday, Jul. 5, starting at 9:30 p.m.
WICOMICO:
- Wicomico East Side Chamber of Commerce will host 250th Anniversary of USA’s Independence Fireworks Extravaganza on Friday, Jul. 3 at 5:00 p.m. at Willards Elementary School
- City of Salisbury will host Red, White & Play on Saturday, Jul. 4 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at James M. Bennett High School, with fireworks put on by Red, White & Boom at 9:00 p.m.
- Hebron Fireman’s Carnival will host a fireworks show on Saturday, Jul. 4, at 9:45 p.m.
WORCESTER:
- Pocomoke City will have their celebration early this year and host fireworks on Friday, Jun. 26, at 9:00 p.m.
- Town of Snow Hill will host their Independence Day Celebration, starting at 5:00 p.m. on Friday, Jul. 3, with fireworks starting around 9:00 p.m. in Sturgis Park
- Town of Berlin will put on a fireworks display in Heron Park on Friday, Jul. 3, starting between 9:00 p.m. and 9:30 p.m.
- Ocean Pines Recreation & Parks will host a July 4th Carnival & Fireworks display on Saturday, Jul. 4, from 4:00 p.m to 9:00 p.m. at the Worcester County Veterans Memorial Park (fireworks starting at 9:15 p.m.)
- Ocean City will host a Grand 250th Anniversary Independence Day Celebration on Saturday, Jul. 4, at Northside Park and the Boardwalk at North Division Street, featuring fireworks starting at 9:30 p.m.
Virginia
ACCOMACK:
- Chincoteague Volunteer Fire Company Carnival will have fireworks on Saturday, Jul. 4 starting at 9:00 p.m.
