Ocean City Event to Provide Free Food, Health Services and Community Resources

OCEAN CITY, Md. — Community members will have access to free food and a variety of support services during an upcoming Food Share and Community Resources event in Ocean City.

The event, hosted by the Atlantic Club in partnership with the Maryland Food Bank and Diakonia, is scheduled for June 18 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Atlantic Club, located at 11827 Ocean Gateway.

In addition to free food distribution, attendees will have access to health screenings, health care information, reentry services, Narcan training, peer support and recovery resources, legal services information, and assistance with SNAP enrollment through the Rapid Response Team.

Organizers say the event is designed to connect residents with essential services while helping address food insecurity and other community needs.
