Ironman Eagleman Takes Over Cambridge

(CAMBRIDGE, Md) – Thousands of athletes are descending on the Mid-Shore this weekend as the City of Cambridge becomes the setting for the annual Ironman Eagleman.

According to organizers, more than three thousand athletes are taking part in the event, spanning from the waters of the Choptank River to the streets of the Mid-Shore community.

As race organizers continue to see bigger turnouts for events like these, they’re helping to make Cambridge into a premier destination for athletes.

Race Organizer, Brian Snow tells WMDT, “It’s really nice to see all the work come together when the team comes into town and we put this all together. It’s good for us. We feel good about it. I’m glad to see the town being full of people, and I’m glad to see the athletes coming down to fulfill their dreams.”

The Ironman Eagleman will take place Sunday, June 14th in Cambridge
