Charlie Paparella Meets a Funnel Weaver Spider

SALISBURY, Md. – In this week’s edition of Back on the Road with Charlie Paparella, brought to you by Furniture & More Gone Coastal, Charlie comes across the path of a funnel weaver spider.

Charlie views the funnel weaver’s web as a likely doorway to find on a dew covered morning. The spider spends most of his time at home, waiting for visitors to drop by.

“But it’s an unfortunate bug that stops by for something to eat,” Charlie observes. “It’s a pretty sure bet that the diner will soon become dinner after a brief altercation with this host to his invariably the winner.”

But this arachnid likes to kid — he serves his guests poison to keep the bug population down.
