West Virginia Man Arrested on Gun Charges in Queen Anne’s Co.

QUEEN ANNE’S COUNTY, Md. – The Queen Anne’s County Office of the Sheriff has arrested a man from West Virginia he admitted to having a loaded gun in his vehicle.
Deputies arrested 20-year-old Brady Boston of Parkersburg, West Virginia, on charges of possessing a firearm as a minor, having a loaded handgun in a vehicle, failure to attach vehicle registration plates, and related traffic and firearm offenses. On Monday, Jun. 8, he was released on his own recognizance following a bond hearing.
Just before noon on Saturday, Jun. 6, deputies conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle without registration plates traveling in the area of eastbound Route 50 and Nesbit Road. After making contact with the driver, identified as Boston, and a passenger, a K9 team responded to the scene to conduct a scan of the vehicle which returned a positive alert.
Boston reportedly admitted having a firearm and cannabis within the vehicle to police. A probable cause search of the vehicle was conducted, and the firearm was recovered by authorities. Boston was taken into custody without incident.
