Salisbury Man Sentenced to 105 Years for Rape, Sexual Abuse of a Minor
SALISBURY, Md. – A Salisbury man has been sentenced to more than a century of jailtime for multiple counts of rape and the sexual abuse of a minor.
On May 22, Judge Matthew A. Maciarello sentenced 38-year-old Jacob Price to 105 years of incarceration in the Division of Corrections. Price previously plead guilty on Apr. 2 to the sexual abuse of a minor and four counts of second degree rape. Between Aug. and Oct. 2025, Price repeatedly sexually abused a minor under his care. The victim was under the age of 10 at the time.
In a statement from the Wicomico County State’s Attorney’s (SA) Office, SA Jamie L. Dykes said the following:
“Children who are sexually abused suffer severe, and often life-long consequences. The young survivor in this case displayed immense courage and strength in disclosing the sexual abuse. I thank the multi-disciplinary team of the Wicomico County Child Advocacy Center for their exceptional response and investigation in this case. The Court’s powerful sentence in this case sends an unmistakable message that when minors are harmed in Wicomico County, perpetrators will be held accountable and pay a heavy price.”
