QUEENSTOWN, Md. – The Queen Anne’s County Sheriff’s Office has arrested a Queenstown woman in connection with a stabbing that injured one.

Deputies arrested 36-year-old Lauren Fuller on charges of first and second degree assault, as well as reckless endangerment. According to court documents obtained by WMDT, she is being held without bond pending a preliminary hearing in mid-June.

On May 18 at 11:49 a.m., deputies were dispatched to the University of Maryland Shore Emergency Center for a patient with suspicious injuries. Upon arrival, deputies learned the patient was suffering from a stab wound. The victim was transported to Shock Trauma with non-life-threatening injuries.

After meeting with the patient, deputies responded to a Queenstown residence to make contact with others living in the home. While there, officers made contact with Fuller, who provided a conflicting statement of events and indicated to officers that the victim had stabbed himself.

Another resident of the house provided deputies with surveillance footage from the home. While watching the footage, deputies observed Fuller on camera stabbing the victim in the torso during an argument. Fuller was subsequently arrested and charged accordingly.
