Multiple Companies Respond to Dewey Beach Townhouse Fire
DEWEY BEACH, Del. – Multiple fire companies responded to a residential structure fire in Dewey Beach on Tuesday morning.
Around 8:30 a.m. on May 19, crews with the Rehoboth Beach Volunteer Fire Company (RBVFC) responded to a three-story townhouse with visible smoke and flames coming from the roof and third-floor. All occupants were out of the building at the time of the fire.
Due to the high temperatures, multiple companies responded to the scene. RBVFC was assisted by the Lewes Fire Department, Bethany Beach Fire Company, Indian River Fire Company, Millville Fire Company, Milton Fire Department and Sussex County EMS.
No injuries were reported. The Delaware State Fire Marshal’s Office is reportedly investigating.
