Get Ready for Summer Giveaway with TidalHealth

DELMARVA – In this week’s Health Beat, brought to you by TidalHealth, WMDT sat down with Vanessa Junkin, a marketing coordinator with TidalHealth, to discuss their wellness website: Get Well Delmarva.

Get Well Delmarva serves as an information hub for all things related to health, wellness, mind, mood, and more. Additionally, Junkin told WMDT that readers can be sure they are getting the most accurate and up-to-date health resources at the site.

“All of our articles are either written with our TidalHealth practitioners as either sources, or they are the authors,” Junkin explained. “So that way you know that you can rely on the information. They’ve been trained in their fields, and if it’s written by somebody that’s not a practitioner, we use all of our sources and make sure that everything is accurate.”

Junkin also spoke about the Doctor Taboo podcast, which dives into topics you may be scared to ask your doctor about. Episodes hosted by Dr. Chris Snyder are updated almost every week, conquering uncomfortable topics in a way that’s easy to understand and also fun.

Lastly, Junkin talked about different giveaways the health organization throws, including the Get Ready for Summer Giveaway currently going on. Anyone is welcome to enter the prize contest, and entries will be accepted online through May 26.
