Wor-Wic Community College holds commencement ceremonies
SALISBURY, Md. – Wor-Wic Community College holding its spring commencement ceremonies on Wednesday at the Wicomico Youth and Civic Center.
Maryland’s lieutenant governor Aruna Miller gave an address and encouraged graduates to make a difference in the community.
After her speech, Wor-Wic president Deborah Casey presented Miller with a plaque on behalf of the college’s 2026 graduating class.
In total, 543 degrees and certificates were awarded, with nursing as the most popular major.
The majority of students were from Salisbury or other parts of Wicomico County, followed by Worcester and Somerset Counties.
