Cape Beats Dover, 29-14

The Cape Henlopen Vikings picked up a 29-14 road win over the Dover Senators to improve to 5-1 on the season. The Senators move to 2-4.
The Senators got things started positively. Quarterback Jordan Magee Connected withe Deric Cooper for a 30 yard touchdown pass in the first quarter. Cape quickly responded on first and goal, as Rasheed Woods barreled through defenders for a shorts TD run. Dover regained momentum in the second quarter as Jerry Warren carried the ball in to give the Senators a 14-7 lead heading into the half. That was all the damage that Dover would do, as the Vikings mounted a second half, 22 point comeback.
Next week, Cape will take on the Caesar Rodney Blue Riders. Dover will be tested as its hosts Salesianum School at home.
