Sussex Central Middle Teacher Named Indian River TOY

GEORGETOWN, Del. – Tonight’s Good News, brought to you in part by Matt the Carpet Guy, coming out of Sussex County.

Emily Wright, a science teacher at Sussex Central Middle School (SCMS) has been crowned as the Indian River School District’s Teacher of the Year. Mrs. Wright is also a member of her school’s Instructional Leadership, Positive Behavior Interventions and Support, and Multi-Tier Systems of Supports teams. SCMS administrators say her students thrive from the environment her classroom fosters.
