One person dies in single-vehicle crash in St. Michaels

ST. MICHAELS, Md. – One person is dead following a crash in St. Michaels Monday night.

The Saint Michaels Fire Department says it responded to the single-vehicle crash on St. Michaels Road at Old Martingham Road around 10:40 p.m.

When crews arrived on scene, they found one vehicle off the road with one person trapped.

Shortly after arriving, they determined the person was dead.

Crews remained on scene for around an hour and a half while Maryland State Police conducted their investigation.
