Parkside boy’s lacrosse sinks Bennett under the lights

SALISBURY, Md. – Parkside boy’s lacrosse took down James M. Bennett 11-3 Wednesday night in Salisbury.

Parkside struck first with two goals from Parker Hall, before Bennett responded with a tally from Hank Myer to cut the lead in half. Jackson Croyle for Parkside and Grant Wright for Bennett traded scores to close the first quarter at 3-2 in favor of the Rams.

Parkside created some separation heading into the break with goals from Tavian Dashiell, Ethan Waters, and another tally from Hall to make it 6-2.

James M. Bennett stayed afloat early in the third quarter with Elijah Musengwa finding the back of the net to make it 6-3, but the Rams’ defense cut off the water as their offense expanded the lead for a convincing win.

Parkside remains unbeaten in the Bayside South. The final two games of their regular season will be at home versus Queen Anne’s on April 29, and at home against Stephen Decatur on May 1.
