Delaware police arrest Pennsylvania man on weapons charges after road rage incident
FELTON, Del – Delaware State Police have arrested a Pennsylvania man on firearm and related charges after road rage incident.
On April 20 at 9:40 a.m., Delaware State Police responded to road rage confrontation where a handgun was displayed, on South Dupont Highway near Killens Pond Road. Patrolling police soon recognized the suspect’s vehicle and arrested 38-year-old Jeffrey Neifert, of New Ringgold, Pennsylvania. Upon inspection, police found a switchblade and loaded handgun in Neifert’s possession.
Neifert was arrested without incident and charged with Possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony, carrying a concealed deadly weapon, aggravated menacing, and carrying a concealed deadly weapon. He was committed to the Sussex Correctional Institution on a $78,000 cash bond.
