HOPS On The River is back in Downtown Salisbury

SALISBURY, Md. — The City of Salisbury hosted the first Third Friday event of the year last week, but the fun doesn’t stop there.

This Saturday, HOPS on the River returns, featuring more than 15 breweries and over 30 beers to sample. Tickets are $45, with a $10 discount for students, first responders, and teachers. A ticket includes admission, a tasting glass, and unlimited pours during the event.

There will also be live music and food available for purchase.

Lauren Bailey Gaba, event coordinator for the City of Salisbury, said, “We’re going to have these limited releases throughout the event, scheduled for 2:30. You can check out the RAR tent, where they’ll pop the top on a special limited-edition beer. They’re only going to have a small amount of it, so it’s first come, first served. This gives the breweries a chance to interact with the crowd and talk about it.”

The event will run from 2 to 5 p.m. between Unity Square and the Games Park. The following roads will be closed on Saturday: South Division Street from Times Square to Camden Street.
