Dr. Chelsea Taylor Named 2026 Wicomico Teacher of the Year

SALISBURY, Md. – Tonight’s Good News, brought to you in part by Matt the Carpet Guy, coming out of Wicomico County Public Schools.

Congratulations to James M. Bennett (JMB) High School’s Dr. Chelsea Taylor, who was crowned 2026 Wicomico County Teacher of the Year on Thursday night. Dr. Taylor is in her 12th year of teaching at JMB and is currently working toward National Board Certification.

The school hosted a celebratory walk-through on Friday morning for her family, colleagues and students in honor of her achievement.
