Firefighters Rescue Dog During House Fire in Salisbury

SALISBURY, Md. — Fire crews in Salisbury responded to a house fire Friday morning, where firefighters conducted an aggressive interior attack and rescued a dog from the burning home.

Salisbury Fire Department units, along with assisting agencies, were dispatched to a residence on Richmond Avenue. Crews quickly entered the home to search for occupants while working to contain the fire.

During the operation, a firefighter from Truck 2 located a dog inside the residence and carried the animal बाहर to emergency medical personnel for treatment.

Officials did not immediately release information about any human injuries or the extent of damage to the home.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation by the Maryland State Fire Marshal’s Office.
