Bennett Tops Easton In Regular Season Finale

The Bennett boys soccer team pulled out a 3-1 win over Easton on Wednesday afternoon. The win improves the Clippers to 9-1-2, while the loss drops the Warriors to 8-3.
The Clippers would strike first just over ten minutes into the match when Cermy Oneus would beat his man and find the back of the net. Shortly after that, a foul just outside the box would give a free kick to the Clippers. They would send a quick pass into the box where Connor Banks would send it home to double the lead. Bennett would continue to fire shots on goal, but Easton’s keeper would come up with several nice saves. Clippers kept coming though as Banks would add another in the second half as Bennett was able to hold on from there for the win.
Bennett awaits the release of this years Maryland State Tournament bracket to find out who they play next, while Easton takes on Stephen Decatur on Friday.
