Books From The Backseat Initiative

POCOMOKE CITY, Md. – Tonight’s Good News, brought to you in part by Matt the Carpet Guy, coming out of Worcester County.

The leadership of Worcester County Public Schools took a visit to Pocomoke Middle School on Monday.

They got to engage with students — but did not come empty handed. During the visit, school leaders gave away books to students as part of their Books From The Backseat Initiative. The initiative gifts books to students as a way to nurture a love for reading.
